Recently, Thailand International Fashion Week 2026 successfully hosted a series of fashion presentations and professional exchange activities at Baiyoke Sky Hotel in Bangkok. The event brought together a large number of fashion designers, backstage professionals, and promising models. The collections offered fresh creative perspectives, reflecting the fashion industry’s increasingly integrated spirit across the region.
A rich fashion picture accentuated by a practical discussion
The centerpiece of TIFW 2026 was its runway, featuring 17 collections and specialized presentations. Participating brands and designers included Eanian478, Chantacha Saewang, Dipti Chandra, Chompooh.000, Celeb Kidz, Raison d’Être, Méthode Cachée, TIFW Swimwear, Rainbow Thailand – Designer Pla, along with Vietnamese-origin representatives Nguyen Minh Truc, Tran Huynh Ngan Ha, Phan Xuan Giau, Huynh Ly Thien Nhi, and Nguyen Ngoc Khanh Linh.
Each garment was presented in a cohesive setting combining lighting, sound technology, and a distinctive visual style. The seamless interaction between the garments and the models helped fully convey the artistic vision and practicality of each participating fashion house.
Alongside the runway schedule, the organizers also hosted a series of themed discussion sessions, Talk with Dr. Kanthicha and Talk with Lord Marcuss. These sessions offered fashion enthusiasts and industry professionals an opportunity to hear real-world stories, professional experiences, and insights into the development of the modern fashion industry.
New global effort for youth talent leveraging
The event made a strong mark on international cultural exchange with the presence of M.L. Panwad Sukhsawat, along with representatives associated with the Governments of India and Dubai. In addition, Dr. Kanthicha Chimsiri (Yui) took to the runway, adding an elegant highlight to the program.
Speaking about the project’s long-term vision, Dr. Chirawan Lewis, founder and production director of TIFW 2026, affirmed: “Thailand International Fashion Week was created to connect culture and commerce while opening up real-world international opportunities for young designers and models on the international stage.”
Alongside welcoming international models, the program placed a strong emphasis on nurturing future talent through the “Thai Youth Go Inter” initiative, coordinated by Rainbow Modelling in collaboration with TIFW Academy. Young talents were given direct exposure to a real-world production environment, allowing them to gradually develop their runway skills and professional working standards.
A cordial atmosphere for warm welcome
Before the official runway shows, the lobby of Baiyoke Sky Hotel came alive with red carpet filming activities and television interviews. The program was hosted by Fongbeercia Sasithorn Satimai and Keatbuncha Ketsuwan, beginning with a brief opening address by M.L. Panwad Sukhsawat.
The opening ceremony made a strong impression with a traditional Thai artistic performance combined with a Muay Thai showcase by fighter Govan. This was followed by the appearance of the artist duo Juli & Nico, adding a youthful contemporary touch to the venue before the main collections took to the runway.
This opening series of activities demonstrated a harmonious combination of preserving cultural heritage and identity with the spirit of integration embodied by a regional cultural exchange event.
Admirable backstage running procedures for a seamless finale
Running smoothly behind the catwalk was the production team, including the sound, lighting, and LED screen crews, under the direction of stage director Eakachai Selim. The beauty team from Rosy Buddha Academy and Coolcut Barber, coordinated by Ms. Areerat Jamikorn, ensured that every model maintained a polished appearance.
The event also received support from partners Sheikh Ayash Group of Companies, Zaap Factory, and Summit Core. These resources helped the organizers ensure that the entire production process was carried out smoothly, on schedule, and in accordance with professional standards.
The program concluded with a Grand Finale presented by Rainbow Thailand, bringing all designers and models back onto the runway to greet the audience. A group commemorative photo featuring representatives of the organizing committee, partners, and artists officially marked the conclusion of TIFW 2026 in Bangkok.
