On the evening of September 11 in Hanoi, the artistic event Greenlife Legacy 2025 officially opened, taking the audience on a journey to explore “Four Elements, a Sustainable Green Legacy.” Among the four distinctive chapters, Chapter II – WATER: The Flow of Resurrection emerged as a unique aesthetic highlight, offering experiences both refined and profound. Inspired by the tolerance and hidden strength of water, hair artist Mai Huy Hoang crafted three striking hairstyles, blending professional technique with artistic sensibility to recreate the rejuvenating flow of water on stage.
The first hairstyle was treated into a sleek, mirror-like straight texture, its glossy surface reflecting stage light like shimmering silver rays. Cool golden tones combined with finely cut, lightweight layers brought harmony to the overall look. Paired with a silver corset design, the hairstyle evoked an image of a cascading waterfall—powerful yet graceful—mirroring water’s dual nature of fierceness and gentleness.
For the second look, hair artist Mai Huy Hoang created a silvery aqua effect by blending and balancing subtle hues, producing a natural color shift reminiscent of moonlight on the sea’s surface. With a clean center part and smooth flow that maintained soft movement, the style harmonized with the white satin costume. The interplay of sheen control and fabric texture conjured an image of pristine, crystalline waves. Here, hair and fashion fused seamlessly, like an endless stream enveloping the stage.
The final design made a bold statement with radiant platinum locks, ironed straight along the spine, embodying pride and resilience. On this pre-lightened base, Hoang applied intensive care solutions to reinforce strength, ensuring the hair retained its silky glow under stage lights. He shared: “b3 is my powerful ally, allowing me to create freely and push beyond limits while still safeguarding hair health.” The striking contrast between platinum-bright hair and a black metallic outfit illustrated a “stream of power”—the inner force of water surging beyond boundaries. More than a showpiece, this hairstyle stood as a testament to the artist’s mastery of control and creativity.
As the founder of Behind The Chair Hair Studio, hair artist Mai Huy Hoang is renowned for his minimalist, refined approach that always honors the individuality of each client. His strength lies in a solid foundation of international techniques, paired with a modern mindset in handling both color and hair structure.
In his role as Brand Ambassador for b3 Brazilian Bond Builder in Vietnam, Hoang not only inspires a vision of hairdressing as a serious and professional craft but also spreads a philosophy that values hair health, placing authenticity at the core of every creation. At Greenlife Legacy 2025, his three hair designs were more than stage presentations—they stood as testaments to his aspiration: that hair, too, can tell stories—about water, about healing, and about rebirth.
