Organized by Runway Productions Malaysia, a company specializing in professional fashion events, Malaysia Supermodel Search Kids 2025 continues its partnership with MyTOWN for the second consecutive year. The synergy between these two major brands not only ensures top-notch event quality but also elevates the competition into an educational platform, helping children develop confidence, public speaking skills, and professional runway abilities from an early age.
Opportunities to shine on a professional runway
After the preliminary round on June 15, the most outstanding contestants will be selected to advance to the semifinals, where they will face a special challenge called the Mini Fashion Show Challenge. Here, the participants must demonstrate their stage presence, performance charisma, and ability to adapt to the professional fashion environment within a short time. This phase acts as a “panning for gold” process, where only those who truly shine will move on to the finals.
To help contestants make significant progress in a short time, the organizers have invited professional partners such as Backstage Academy, a renowned makeup academy, and Hairatelier, Malaysia’s leading hair styling partner. In addition to training in performance techniques, the contestants also develop teamwork skills, stage etiquette, personal image building, and age-appropriate aesthetic sense. All will come together during Fashion Week at MyTOWN from August 13 to 17, one of the most anticipated events of Malaysia Supermodel Search Kids 2025. At the Central Town area, contestants will step onto a professionally staged catwalk, surrounded by lights, music, and media attention. This is where they showcase everything they have learned throughout their training journey—not only the standard runway walk but also confident presence, unique personality, and the ability to connect with the audience.
The Grand Finale night on August 16 will be the defining moment when the top contestants are officially announced. Notably, one young contestant will be awarded the prestigious opportunity to represent Malaysia at Global Junior Fashion Week 2026 held in Hanoi—an international event gathering the leading child supermodels from across the continent.
